It's a ditzy holiday

A good friend and BIG supported of mosspink requested a custom shirred dress made from Michael Miller's Holiday Ditzy fabric. It is ADORABLE! I loved it so much I added a shirt made from that fabric to my shop!

Girly ribbon hats

I am collaborating with a friend that makes adorable hair bows. We are creating breathtaking ribbon hats! The hat pictured is made with acrylic yarn. They will be available in my shop this week.

School has finally begun for the older 2. Hopefully now I can devote more time to sewing and actually get some items listed in the shop. Here are a couple of items that will be listed today or tomorrow. :)

Don't lose hope

It has been very busy in the Mosspink house! It is time for the kids to go back to school. It is also harvesting season. I have been canning green beans all weekend. I hope to get bak to the sewing machine and the crochet hooks very soon. I'm having withdrawals! lol Please continue to check the shop and facebook for updates and new items. I plan to post many new items beginning in September! :)

Sewing, sewing, sewing

I have to do some sewing today to fill the orders I received from the Christmas in July Spectacular. I hope to have them all complete by this weekend but that is no small task with 2 munchkins running around my ankles all day. lol

New machine and new dresses

I bought a new sewing machine last week! I didn't splurge (although I really wanted to). My local sewing center was having an awesome sale. I got a manual Husqvarna Viking machine. I can trade up within a year. Exciting!

I was asked by a friend to make a pillow case dress for her baby girl. It wasn't hard to make. I hope to list them in my store soon!

Back in business

My earlier post was a bit premature. I didn't think my wonderful live-in handy man could fix it!But he did! Let the sewing commence!

Devastated

I have been cranking out dresses, headbands, and skirts like a madwoman lately. This morning I had every intention on completing all of my orders before going on a mini-vacation. I turned on my trusty Singer sewing machine and it seemed a little slow. I continued sewing and it started beeping and just quit working all together. :-( I can't believe it! Just when everything was going so well. Now I have to buy a new sewing machine. Ugh. It is such a daunting task. But hopefully I will be back in a few days with a brand spankin' new machine!
